Nightclubs offer a place where one can let loose and forget about their worries. A place with an atmospheric setting to music, dance, and socialize. A place where one can experience true euphoria. This is a two-story nightclub located in downtown Austin, Texas and occupies the renovated space of the historic Seaholm Intake Building overlooking the Colorado river.
Newly added panels in between existing building structures create the illusion of being in a grander environment. The panels are made of polished polycarbonate material to add the shine and reflections. The interior also consists of interactive walls, LED lights installation will be placed between polycarbonate sheet panels and motion senses will control when they are on and off. The idea is that lights will subtly illuminate the visitors' movements and shine brighter the closer they get to the wall, allowing visitors to dance with the building. This makes transitioning to different areas more of an active experience.
